The MCC baseball team wasn't able to close out their fourth straight win on Friday as they fell to Phoenix College 11-8.
The Thunderbirds took a 6-8 lead into the top of the 9th inning. Phoenix would score five runs in their half of the inning to take an 11-8 lead.
MCC was unable to answer in the bottom of the frame and fell to the Bears for the third time this season.
With the loss MCC's record falls to 18-28 (6-25 ACCAC).
The two teams will meet again tomorrow at Phoenix College, first pitch at 12:00 p.m.
