Mesa Puts Up a Baker's Dozen in 13-5 Game Two Victory, Split Double-Header at AWC
Yuma, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds left Yuma with one win and considering they had dropped their last five games, leaving with a victory was something to celebrate. Mesa won game two of the double-header, 13-5, behind a solid pitching performance from Kelton Lachelt.
The T-Birds pushed 13 runs across during the victory, their third highest run total for a game this season.
With the win, Mesa moves to 17-13 overall and 11-11 in conference. Mesa will play at home this coming Saturday against Gateway.
