Baseball, softball, and tennis all in action on Tuesday.

Four MCC teams take flight on Tuesday.

Tennis

Both the men's and women's tennis teams will be in action as they compete in the Region I Championship.

The men's team comes into the championship with a 7-5 overall record and a perfect 6-0 conference record. The team looks to capture their ninth straight region title.

The women's team comes into the championship with a 5-7 overall record and a 2-3 conference mark.

Baseball

The baseball team will take the field against Chandler-Gilbert at home on Tuesday for an ACCAC contest. The two teams split their series earlier in the year as CGCC won the first game, 19-0 and MCC won the second, 7-6.

MCC is coming off their first win in three weeks as they defeated Glendale on Saturday, 5-4. The Thunderbirds hold a 16-27 overall record (4-24 ACCAC).

CGCC comes in with a 23-21 mark (11-17 ACCAC). 

First pitch will be at 3:00 p.m.

Softball

The Lady T-Birds will take the diamond in a doubleheader contest against Central Arizona College on Tuesday. MCC comes in with a 21-17 record (15-17 ACCAC). CAC comes in with a 27-15 record (23-9 ACCAC).

The last time these teams met they split their series with CAC winning the first game 10-5, and MCC winning the second,7-5.

The first game will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the second to follow at 3:00 p.m.
