MCC Volleyball improved their overall record to 8-8 and their conference record to 5-3 after they defeated Phoenix College, 3-0 Friday night.
The Lady T-Birds dominated all three sets against the Bears after gaining their footing in the first few points. MCC did not allow PC to score more than 15 points in any set and went on runs as large as 15-4 during the contest.
Mesa seems to be hitting their stride and the timing could not be better as they will have two tough non-conference battles against Pima CC and No. 16 CGCC on Saturday before they host Eastern Arizona College next Wednesday.
