The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their Week 2 NJCAA Division I Women Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index on Wednesday.

The Lady T-Birds claimed the No. 1 spot in the index for the second straight week. With their second straight appearance on top this marks the best start for Mesa, last year MCC ranked No. 3 in the first two weeks. Mesa currently owns 10 top five national marks and 20 top 10 national marks.

The Lady T-Birds will be back in action on April 11 as they travel to Azusa, CA to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational.
