Women's TF Competes at NAU Tune-Up

Flagstaff, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's track & field team competed at the NAU Tune-Up meet Friday night in the final regular season indoor meet.

All times in the running events were adjusted for an altitude conversion as the meet was held at 6,877 ft. elevation.

The lady T-Birds had three athletes improve their marks in events they'd already qualified for.

Zaria Hamilton was third in the 400m with a time of 57.47 (57.68 converted time) to improve her indoor national qualifying time for the event.

Anna Harmon improved her qualifying time in the mile as her 5:27.93 effort got converted down to 5:16.02.

Lilyanna Martinez ran a personal-best time of 8.98 seconds in the 60m Hurdles (9.02 converted time).

Zana Ryan ran a personal-best time of 7.74 seconds in the 60m dash (7.78 converted time) but just missed out on the qualifying standard.

The lady T-Birds will close out the indoor season at the 2023 NJCAA Indoor Championships on March third and fourth in Topeka, KS.
