No. 24 Mesa Women's Tennis won their second straight conference match on Tuesday as they defeated Paradise Valley, 9-0.

With the win the Lady T-Birds stay perfect in conference play as they have now won all four matches this season, all in dominant fashion.

Mikaela Correa and Jackelin Almada Lopez continued to dominate in No. 1 doubles competition winning, 8-1. Avounay Rossi and Sienna Buttafuoco also earned a resounding win in their No.2 contest, 8-1.

In singles play MCC kept their momentum rolling as Correa, Taylor Wasson, and Lynn Angulo were all successful in two sets. Journey Barajas notched a hard fought win in three sets to keep the sweep alive for her team.

Head coach Feroz Rast was happy with his team's performance as they continued their success in conference play.

"Ladies played dominate again.  Very proud of the fight and attention to detail by everyone on the team. Their hard work is paying off," said Rast, "doubles again played efficiently, and both teams won big. In singles, Taylor Wasson and Lynn Angulo really came out with a purpose and won in a big way. I look forward to our match vs GCC on Thursday as we have another big match-up on the road."

Mesa will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to take on Glendale in another ACCAC battle. The T-Birds have been successful against the Gauchos so far this season winning both matches by a large margin.
