Women's tennis falls just short at Region I Championship
Glendale, AZ – The Mesa women's tennis team gave ACCAC champion Eastern Arizona all it could handle at the Region I championship, but fell just one-point short.
EAC claimed the title with 11 points to MCC's ten. Paradise Valley was third with three.
"So proud of both teams today," said head coach Feroz Rast. "The ladies competed for everything and we just came one point short. I know we left it all out there and can't wait to see us compete at nationals."
