NCAA DII Dixie State blanks women's tennis, 9-0

  MESA, AZ - Facing one of several strong NCAA programs that they will meet this season, the Mesa women's Tennis team fell to Division II Dixie State, 9-0, Friday.

  MCC gave the visitors all they could handle at No. 1 doubles as the team of Rachael Eshillonu and Michelle Fournier pushed Dixie State's Karolin Kukaris and Laura Hartle to the brink, before falling, 9-7.

  Things will remain tough for Mesa Saturday as it faces another NCAA DII foe, Colorado State-Pueblo, at 2:00 p.m. on the Mesa courts.
