Mesa Soccer welcomes in South Mountain CC to John D. Riggs Stadium Tuesday night for an ACCAC battle.
Women's Soccer:
The Lady T-Birds come into the match with a 1-5 overall record (0-3 ACCAC). MCC has lost their last three games by an average of nine goals. In their last game to DI opponent Eastern Arizona, the Lady T-Birds held strong in the first half only giving up one goal until the 44th minute.
South Mountain's women's team comes into the contest winless on the year with an 0-5-1 overall mark and a 0-2-1 conference record. In their last three games the Lady Cougars have suffered losses to Gateway CC and Chandler-Gilbert CC while earning a scoreless tie against Paradise Valley CC.
Men's Soccer:
The No. 11 MCC Men's Soccer team comes in with a 2-1-2 overall record (0-0-2 ACCAC). In their last three games the Thunderbirds have gone 1-0-2 with a win over Paradise Valley, and two 1-1 ties against DI opponents Arizona Western College who claims the No. 2 spot in the nation, and Eastern Arizona College.
South Mountain CC comes in with a 1-3-1 overall record and a 1-1-1 conference mark. In their last three games the Cougars have gone 1-1-1 with a win over Gateway CC, a loss to Paradise Valley, and a tie against Chandler-Gilbert CC.
