MCC women's golf drops two places after round three of NJCAA championship

The Lady T-Birds of the golf team completed round three of the NJCAA Women's Championship on Thursday.

Led on the day by Jolie Guyette who shot a 75 on the day, the Lady T-Birds shot a 314 (+26) in the third round. MCC started the day off in fifth, but were passed by Odessa College who shot 308 (+20) on the day, and by Redlands CC who shot 312 (+24).

Presley Pickron shot a third round 79 as she is tied for 18th 75-79-79 (233), Abby Schmidt fired a 78 in her third round of action as she is tied for 20th 77-79-78 (234), Jolie Guyette shot a team best 75 in the third round as she moved up nine spots to climb into a tie for 23rd place 80-80-75 ( 235). 

Mackenzie Vongphosy shot a third round 82 as she is tied for 39th 84-75-82 (241).

The Lady T-Birds will be back in action for the fourth and final round on Friday.
