Rain, darkness, again bedevil NJCAA women's golf
Ormond Beach, Fla. – For the second day in a row, rain interrupted the NJCAA Women's Golf Championship, but this time play was able to be resumed, only to be stopped again by darkness.
When play was halted for good, Mesa was in 11th place but only two T-Birds had finished their rounds. Alyzzah Vakasioula and Abby Schmidt will complete their rounds early Thursday before round four begins. Vakasioula is tied for fifth place individually and Schmidt is 32nd.
Presley Pickron shot an 85 giving her a 54-hole total of 266 putting her in 55th place. Sarah Cordova carded a 108 for a 304 total putting her in 89th place.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude Thursday.
