Motto you live by and/or like: Do not look up to someone else’s success, we all have different goals to reach
Why I Compete: I compete for my parents and relatives in Mexico. Not only competing, my
parents expect me to complete all my classes and continue track, since my parents could not
complete in school in Mexico due to financial situations. I strive to keep going forward, since my
grandfather has passed away due to Leukemia, it has given me motivation. My father had
trouble from his smoking addiction, so we both work hard to help him recover. My mother is my
top motivation since it’s hard for her to find a job, she does her hardest to buy food, and keeps a
roof over us.
