Men's tennis announces 2021-22 recruiting class

Despite all the problems posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mesa men's tennis team put together a fine, if shortened, season last year, finishing 12th in the nation at the NJCAA Division I National Championship.

Now, head tennis coach Feroz Rast is looking forward to what everyone hopes will be a normal year in 2021-22 and is truly excited about his team's prospects.

Coach Rast comments, "I'm so happy to officially announce our 2021 class. This is going to be a very special group.  They are highly motivated and ready to compete. I love the balance of local and international players and can't wait to get them all on the court. I know they will mix in well with our returning players and will help us compete for a national championship! It is a great day to be a T-Bird."

The new group will join four players returning from last season. Back should be No. 1 singles player Beto Carlon and No. 3 Cameron Khan as well Duncan Mulenga and Tate Porter.

Below is a rundown on MCC's top new recruits.
