Mesa, AZ - There has been a whole lot of soccer played between the Mesa Thunderbirds and Scottsdale Artichokes but not one goal has been scored between the two squads.  Saturday showed two tough teams play to a 0-0 final, which both teams played to the same final score earlier in the season at Scottsdale (a match that was shortened due to lightning).

The T-Birds attempted 12 shots on goal while Scottsdale had seven shots on goal.  Both goalies played fantastic as Morgan Barta had eight saves while Jesus Delgadillo made 11 saves.

Mesa moves to 4-5-2 on the season and in ACCAC play.  The T-Birds will play away twice next week, first at Glendale on Tuesday then at Gateway on Saturday.
