PC Bears Visit Men's and Women's Soccer Saturday Night
Men's and women's soccer play back to back tonight against the Phoenix Bears at John D. Riggs Stadium on Saturday night, with the men kicking off at 4:30 and the women at 7 p.m.
Mesa men are coming off an exciting last second victory over the Scottsdale Artichokes on Tuesday night. It was Manuel Lopez who kicked in the game winner with nine seconds remaining to give the T-Birds their second victory of the young season.
Lopez scored both goals for Mesa Tuesday night which tallies his goal total for the season at five. Benji Delgadillo has scored the other three goals.
The Mesa women's soccer team battled the Artichokes hard Tuesday night but fell one goal short in a 2-1 defeat.
The Bears women team come in with a 1-2 record on the season. It will be a rematch of last seasons ACCAC round 1 battle when PC beat Mesa at Rose Mofford.
