TUCSON, AZ - Pima, ranked No. 19 in the NSCAA Division I rankings, defeated the Mesa men's soccer team 3-0 Saturday night at the Kino Sports Complex North Stadium.
The Aztecs, 5-2-1 on the year took a 1-0 halftime lead and eventually pulled away to the 3-0 win.
Mesa actually out-shot Pima, 5-4, but was unable to finish as it slipped to 5-4 for the season.
MCC will return home Tuesday to host Paradise Valley at 5:30 p.m. at John D. Riggs Stadium.
