Men's golf places fourth at Chandler-Gilbert Invitational
Apache Junction, AZ – The Mesa men's golf team placed fourth at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Apache Creek G.C.
The T-Birds shot a 290-292—582 to finish 14 strokes behind winner South Mountain which carded a 280-288—568. Glendale was second, three in front of MCC at 290-289—579 while Pima was third with a 286-294—580.
Warner Beach paced Mesa with a 73-70—143, good for seventh place. Tyler Gerace posted a 74-73—147 to tie for 13th place. Tyler Trachsel was tied for 16th at 70-78—148.
The T-Birds next outing will be March 7-8 at the Eastern Arizona Invitational which will be played at the Mt. Graham G.C. in Safford, AZ.
