Men's golf finishes third at regional
The Mesa men's golf team finished in third place at the Region I, Division II championship held Thursday-Sunday at the Gold Canyon G.C. Sidewinder course.
The T-Birds had a 283-301-296-297—1178 total. South Mountain won with a 281-278-285-287—1131.
MCC's top finisher was Dylan Middlemiss who posted a 74-73-74-71—292 total followed directly by Warner Beach with a 68-80-71-76—295.
Middlemiss and Beach both earn all-ACCAC second team honors.
Other scorers for Mesa were Tyler Trachsel, who was 12th at 73-77-76-74—299 who also earned second team all-conference honors, as well as Jacob Trevino who placed 15th at 78-72-75-85—310.
