Men's golf fourth at Paradise Valley Invitational
Scottsdale, AZ – The Mesa men's golf team completed its regular season Tuesday, finishing fourth at the Paradise Valley Invitational. The tournament was played at the Gainey Ranch G.C.
MCC will move on to the Region I, DII, Championship which will he held April 29-May 2 at the Gold Canyon G.C. in Gold Canyon, AZ.
The T-Birds shot a consistent 294-294—588 and finished just three shots behind third place Paradise Valley which had a 294-291—585. South Mountain won the event posting a 285-289—574. Glendale was third, coming in at 289-291—580.
For the T-Birds, Jacob Trevino led the way, tying for fifth place with a one-over-par 72-73—145. Tyler Trachsel was one shot back, tying for seventh place at 73-73—146.
Bosse Lenssen tied for 12th place, carding a 74-74—148. Ben Yehle tied for 17th at 75-76—151.
