Mes basketball travels to Chandler-Gilbert today for their second straight road game and second meeting of the season against the Coyotes.
The Mesa men's team was defeated by the Coyotes 85-70 on Dec. 3. A game in which MCC shot 46% from the field but were outdone by CGCC who shot 52% from the field and outscored the T-Birds in the second half, 49-34.
The team is coming off of a victory against Central Arizona on Wednesday, 84-77. Tampa Scott led the way for Mesa, scoring 18 in the win.
The No. 9 Lady T-Birds have lost their last two games with the most recent coming against Central Arizona on Wednesday, 70-58. The T-Birds gave CAC 16 points from the charity stripe in the loss.
In their last meeting with CGCC the Lady Thunderbirds came out on top,65-82. Mesa hit a season high 16 three-pointers in the win.
