Mesa hosts Eastern Arizona College Wednesday Night.

Eastern Arizona College will visit Theo Heap Gymnasium tonight as the men tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the women at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady T-Birds will have a tall task ahead of them as the Lady Gila Monsters are the top seed in the ACCAC with a 13-0 overall record and a 6-0 conference record. The team is currently ranked No. 10 in Division I. EAC scored the second most points in the conference (75.2) and surrenders the least amount of points (46.7) to their opponents in the ACCAC. EAC is led in scoring by Skye Miller who nets 14 points a game.

The No. 6 ranked Lady Thunderbirds come into the game with a 10-2 overall record and a perfect 5-0 conference record. The team has won four of their last five as they fell to Howard College in the Bruce Fleck Classic, 62-59. The team averages the most points per game in the conference with 75.2, and allows 60.5 points a game, the 6th most in the ACCAC. The team is led in scoring by Nia Boston who averages 12.7 points a game and Mykah Anderson who averages 12.3.

The men from EAC come into their contest with a 10-3 overall record and a 4-2 conference record. They come in riding a three game winning streak as they've won four of their last six games. The team averages the 4th most points per game in the conference (89.6) while giving up 67 points a game to their opponent (5th most in conference). The men's team is led in scoring by Raysean Seamster who averages 19.2 points per contest, while Theo Seng is 5th in rebounds in the conference, grabbing 7.8 per game.

The Thunderbird men have lost six straight games and come in with a 5-7 overall record and a 1-4 conference record. Their last win was over Central Arizona college on Nov. 30. The team comes in averaging the 3rd least amount of points in the ACCAC (75.6) while allowing the 7th most points per game (71.8).  The T-Birds are led in scoring by Timmy Johnson who averages 15.3 points per game, which is 13th most in the ACCAC.
