13th annual Battle of the Badges takes place at MCC on May 4

The 13th annual Battle of the Badges presented by Arizona Law Enforcement Outreach and Support (AZLEOS) takes place on May 4 at John D. Riggs Stadium.

AZLEOS is proud to present an event to bring the whole community together. Not only will there be an exciting game of flag football between the East Valley Sentinels and the West Valley Warriors, but there will be food and entertainment for the whole family. Entry fee is a $5 donation, card is accepted by cash is prefered. 

Since May 4th is also known to have relation with Star Wars (May the 4th be with you), there will be an exciting Star Wars theme costume contest, all guests are welcome to come dressed as their favorite character!

Public Safety vehicles will be on display at 5:30, the costume contests will take place at 6 along with a silent auction and teen flag football game.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m. with the presentation of colors followed by the game. At halftime of the game scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing degrees in the first responder field.
