Olivia Rodina, Fariel Corrales, and Gabriel Gutierrez Alapizco all earn ACCAC/Region I Honors

Mesa Soccer had three players earn ACCAC/Region I honors for their outstanding performances this season.

Olivia Rodina:

Rodina earned Second Team Region I Division II honors for her sophomore season efforts.

Rodina started in 14 games for Mesa scoring three goals and two assists, earning eight points on the season. Against GateWay CC Rodina had a goal and an assist in the Lady T-Birds 3-2 victory.

Gabriel Gutierrez Alapizco:

Alapizco earned ACCAC Honorable Mention and Second Team Region I Division II honors for his sophomore season.

Alapizco led the Thunderbirds in assists on the year with four, three of which came in one game against GateWay CC where he also scored two goals in a career night. Alapizco ranked second in shots for the team with 18, while notching eight points on the year.

Fariel Corrales:

Corrales earned First Team ACCAC and First Team Region I Division II honors in his sophomore year at MCC.

Corrales ranked second on the team for goals scored with five, as well as second in points on the year with 10, while earning 14 shots in his sophomore campaign.
