Women's Cross Country Jumps Up Three Spots

New Orleans, LA - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 4 NJCAA Div. II Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll on Wedensday, with the Thunderbirds' women's cross country team moving up three spots to fifth overall.

The T-Birds recieved two first-place votes out of the 14 available, while No. 2 ranked Lansing CC recieved two first-place votes as well. Heartland CC remained the No. 1 ranked team for the third consecutive week, recieving the remaining 10 first-place votes. Cowley College and Wallace State were ranked third and fourth overall respectively.

The T-Birds will be competing at the Arizona Christian Invitational this Saturday, taking place on the campus of ACU in Glendale.
