MCC Women's Volleyball welcomes Eastern Arizona College to Theo Heap Gymnasium on Wednesday night for an ACCAC contest.
The Lady T-Birds come in with a 9-9 overall record (5-3 ACCAC). They are 3-2 in their last five matches with wins over Glendale, Pima, and Phoenix College.
Eastern Arizona comes in with a 15-10 overall mark (4-3 ACCAC). The Gila Monsters are also 3-2 in their last five matches with wins over Yavapai, Central Arizona, and South Mountain.
These teams have lined up once already this year as EAC came away with a clean 3-0 sweep over MCC on Sept. 11.
Conference wins will be crucial for MCC down the stretch as they currently are tied with Glendale with five conference wins each as they look to secure the No. 2 seed come postseason. Hot on the Lady T-Birds tail are Chandler-Gilbert and Pima who both have four conference victories each.
In lieu of charging to enter all home volleyball matches, the Athletic Department will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the entrance to support the MCC Mesa Market so come out enjoy some great volleyball and help a good cause!
