MCC Volleyball welcomes Phoenix College to Theo Heap Gymnasium for an ACCAC battle Friday night.
The Lady T-Birds enter play on Friday coming off a big win against Glendale CC on Wednesday, 3-2. Though the Thunderbirds ran out to an early lead in the match, they had to stave off a Gaucho comeback to get the victory in five sets.
MCC holds a 7-8 overall record (4-3 ACCAC) as they've won two of their last five matches and are three and two in their last five conference contests.
Phoenix College enters play on Friday with an 0-9 overall record (0-9 ACCAC). They have won a total of four sets in their nine matches,
In lieu of charging to enter all home volleyball matches, the Athletic Department will be accepting non-perishable food donations at the entrance to support the MCC Mesa Market so come out enjoy some great volleyball and help a good cause!
