Taylor Van Winkle earns ACCAC Honorable Mention Honors

Outside Hitter Taylor Van Winkle of the Mesa Thunderbird's volleyball team earned ACCAC Honorable Mention Honors for her performance during the 2022 season. The ACCAC announced the honors on Tuesday.

Van Winkle, a sophomore from Gilbert, played in all 18 matches for the T-Birds this season. She led the team in total kills (123) and in service aces per set (0.27). Second on the team in kills per set (2.05), digs (163), digs per set (2.72), and assists per set (1.74). And was third in hitting percentage (.087).

In the ACCAC leaderboard, Van Winkle was 18th in digs per set and 14th in assists per set.
