Women's tennis claims second place in Region championship

The women's tennis team came up just short of capturing the ACCAC title on Wednesday as they fell to Eastern Arizona College, 3-6.

The Lady T-Birds gave up a good fight to the Gila Monsters but in the end fell for the second consecutive year as they took home second place.

MCC ended their season with a 5-7 overall record and while going 2-3 in conference play.

 The Lady T-Birds will compete in the NJCAA DI National Championship starting May 6.
