Women's tennis takes down Highline College, 7-2.

The women's tennis team got back on track Saturday as they defeated Highline College, 7-2. 

Before this win the Lady T-Birds had lost four of their last five contests, with this win they improved their record to 3-7 on the year.

"I am so proud of how we played doubles, especially my No. 3 doubles team of freshman Marti Doud and Kirsten Nielson," head coach Rast said on the win, "sophomores Kylie Williams and Alethea LaCroix dominated both singles and doubles and really gave us the boost we needed in singles."

The team will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Paradise Valley Community College.

Singles:

Alethea LaCroix won - 6-2, 6-4

Kylie Williams won - 6-0, 6-2

Taylor Wasson won - 6-2, 7-6, 7-3

Avounay Rossi lost, 5-6, injury

Kirsten Nielson lost - 0-6, 2-6

Martina Doud won - 6-0, 6-2

Doubles:

Alethea LaCroix / Kylie Williams won - 8-4

Taylor Wasson / Avounay Rossi won - 8-5
