T-Birds make push in second round of Southwest District Championship; Vakasiuola tied for third

Mesa Golf bounced back in round two of the NJCAA Southwest District Championship on Tuesday shooting 333 in the round and moving up to 6th place. Alyzzah Vakasiuola moved into a tie for third place 76-74-150,  Ailsa Brannack (Odessa) 73-72-145 leads individually.

Odessa College sits in first place 306-296-602, Mesa trails fifth place Redlands (324-331-655) by 22 strokes. 

Addison King  (78-81-159) is tied for 13th, Raquel Pargas (86-86-172) is tied for 36, & Mary Tukuafu (104-92-206) is tied for 51st.

King must make a push to finish top ten in order and qualify for nationals, Vakasiuola is all but guaranteed to make it as an individual.
