Coach Young been a part of Coach Stephenson's staff since 2014.  He has over 35 years of coaching experience at the high school and college level. 

Playing Career:
1976-78 Two time all-regional 2nd team all-american at North Idaho College
1978-1981 Preseason new comer of the year 1979-80 and honorable mention all Big-Sky 1980-81 at Northern Arizona University.

Coaching Career:
1988-1993  Head/Assistant Coach at JUCO Men's Basketball at South Mountain Community College.
1993-1999  Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at South Mountain High School.  
1999-2001 Assistant Coach Men's Basketball at Mesa Community College.
2001-2006 Head/Assistant Coach Girls Varsity Basketball at South Mountain High School.
2006-2008 Head Coach Girls Varsity Basketball at Desert Vista High School.
2008-2010 Head/Assistant Coach Girls Varsity Basketball at Gilbert High School.
2011-2013 Assistant Coach Girls Varsity Basketball/Head JV Coach Betty Fairfax High School.
2014-Present  Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Mesa Community College.
