No. 10 Women's Basketball welcomes Scottsdale to Theo Heap Gymnasium on Saturday

No. 10 MCC Women's Basketball looks to defend home court on Saturday as they welcome in Scottsdale Community College.

The Lady T-Birds come in with a 10-4 record (5-3 ACCAC) having won two in a row and three of their last five games. They are coming off a dominant 84-44 victory over South Mountain on Wednesday. Miquedah Taliman led the way for MCC in the victory, scoring a season high 16 points including four three-pointers in the victory. 

The Fighting Artichokes come into play on Saturday with an 8-4 record (4-3 ACCAC). Scottsdale is coming off a decisive 86-52 win over Glendale on Wednesday.  SCC was led by Makeylei Snyder who had 22 points, four rebounds, and four steals in the win.

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs this season. Last year Scottsdale was able to go 3-0 against Mesa and knock them out of the Region I Semi-Finals.

The game will take place at Theo Heap Gymnasium and will tip-off at 2:00 p.m.
