No. 6 Women's Basketball hosts Community Christian College on Wednesday

No. 6 MCC Women's Basketball continues their season on Wednesday as they host Community Christian College.

The Lady T-Birds are coming off a historic win  over the weekend when they defeated the then No. 5 team in the country 77-71. The win against Morton helped propel them past the Panthers into the No. 6 spot in the nation.

MCC is led in scoring by Jaida Brooks who has averaged 17.5 points per game (4th best in ACCAC) through two appearances. Brittany Kogbara who had a big game against Morton College leads the team in rebounding grabbing 8.5 boards per contest.

Community Christian College has played three ACCAC opponents so far this season, losing by an average of 85 points between the three games.

The game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. at Theo Heap Gymnasium, MCC's Student Support Foundation will be selling concession items in the lobby during the game to raise funds for students in need of financial assistance.
