Yotuel Garcia Named ACCAC Men's XC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Yotuel Garcia was named the ACCAC men's cross country athlete of the week (8/28 - 9/3) after his performance at the George Kyte Classic this past Saturday.

Garcia finished in 17th place in a field of 118 runners and was the top junior college athlete. He also shattered his previous personal-best time for 4.5 miles with a 23:30.6 showing.

Garcia and the Thunderbirds men's cross country team will race in the Vaquero CAMPY Invitational this Saturday, on the campus of Central Arizona College in Coolidge.
