Personal: Son of Mauro and Sliva Garcia…born May 1, 2002…has two brothers ages 4 and 15…graduate of Westwood High School…eight-time Honor Roll recipient and two-time recipient of the Westwood HS Track and Field Eddie Meadows Award for Excellence in Both Service and Leadership…majoring in Exercise Science…has volunteered with the Love of the Peace Catholic Church.

2022 Track & Field: Raced in six meets during the indoor season...broke the indoor school record for both the 3000m (8:32.44, 10th place) and the mile (4:14.05, 9th place) at the NJCAA Indoor Championships...raced in eight meets during the outdoor season...ran a personal-best time of 15:04.91 in the 5000m at the Distance in the Dark Invite...ran personal bests in both the 800m (1:54.14) and 1500m (3:55.36) at the ASU Twilight...earned All-Region honors in the 4x800m relay (3rd place, 8:03.07), 10,000m (1st place, 32:22 school record), 1500m (2nd place, 4:01.38), and the 5000m (1st place, 15:27.31) at the NJCAA Region I Championships...Raced in the 4x800m relay (12th place, 7:53.47), 1500m (19th place, 4:04.28), and the 5000m (14th place, 15:10.46) at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Championships.

2021 Cross Country: Raced in six meets during the season...earned All-ACCAC second team honors (6th place, 26:57.3) at the ACCAC Championships and helped the men's team win their first conference title in program history...ran a personal-best time of 25:33.4 for 8000m at the UCR Highlander Invite...was the individual champion at the NJCAA Region I Championships...earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NJCAA Division II Championships.

2021 Track & Field: Competed in nine meets during the outdoor season…ran a personal best in the 1500-meter (4:14.69) at the Chapman Pima Aztec Invitational…earned All-ACCAC Honors in the 5000 (third place, 16:24.73) at the ACCAC Championships…recorded a personal best in the 800 (1:58.07) at the Gaucho Invitational…ran a leg of the 4x800 relay at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships.
