Men's Cross Country Remains No. 2 in Coaches Poll
New Orleans, LA - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the Week 4 NJCAA Div. II Men's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll on Wedensday, with the Thunderbirds' men's cross country team remaining second overall in the poll in back to back weeks.
The T-Birds were rewadred with three first-place votes after a hard fought race against mostly NCAA Div. I teams last weekend at the Highlander Invitational. Cowley College recieved the remaining 11 first-place votes to retain the No. 1 ranking. Daytona State College, Heartland CC, and Lansing CC round out the top five teams in the poll in that order.
The T-Birds will be back in action this Saturday morning at the Arizona Christian Invitational, taking place on the campus of ACU in Glendale.
