Yotuel Garcia's TFRRS Meet-By-Meet Results

Personal: Son of Mauro and Sliva Garcia…born May 1, 2002…has two brothers ages 4 and 15…graduate of Westwood High School…eight-time Honor Roll recipient and two-time recipient of the Westwood HS Track and Field Eddie Meadows Award for Excellence in Both Service and Leadership…majoring in exercise science…has volunteered with the Love of the Peace Catholic Church.

2021 Cross Country: Competed in six meets during the season...placed ninth at the ERAU Invitational...earned All-ACCAC First Team honors at the ACCAC Championships (26:57.3) and helped the men's team win their first conference title in program history...recorded a personal best time in the 8,000 meters (25:33.4) at the UC-Riverside Highlander Invitational...was the individual region champion at the NJCAA Region I Championships (26:14.2)...earned All-American honors after finishing in eighth place (25:43.4) at the NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championships...named the NJCAA Cross Country Division II West Region Male Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA.

2021 Track and Field: Competed in nine meets during the outdoor season…ran a personal best in the 1500-meter (4:14.69) at the Chapman Pima Aztec Invitational…earned All-ACCAC Honors in the 5000 (third place, 16:24.73) at the ACCAC Championships…recorded a personal best in the 800 (1:58.07) at the Gaucho Invitational…ran a leg of the 4x800 relay at the NJCAA Outdoor Championships.
