Ellis Collins signs with Hawaii
Mesa, Ariz. - Mesa distance runner Ellis Collins will be continuing her education at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa next year.
The sophomore from Benjamin Franklin H.S. in Queen Creek, Ariz. signed a full athletic scholarship letter of intent with the Rainbow Warriors' cross country and track programs. She will be pursuing a B.A. in Biology at the university.
"I'm very proud of Ellis for continuing her academic and athletic career at the University of Hawaii," says Head Cross Country Coach Daniel Pescador. "She has worked extremely hard during her time here in our program and it has paid off. I'm excited to see her continued success at the NCAA Division I level."
The University of Hawaii's cross country and track programs compete in the Big West Conference.
