Men's tennis remains unbeaten in ACCAC play with 6-3 win over Paradise Valley

Phoenix, AZ – In a thrilling match, the Mesa men's tennis team remained in first place in the ACCAC with a 6-3 win over Paradise Valley Thursday.

"What a match," gushed MCC head coach Feroz Rast. "I'm so proud of everyone today. This was definitely a TEAM win and took everyone contributing and playing with a common goal.

"We knew playing PV at their place was going to be tough and we were up for a fight! I'm very happy with how hard Duncan and Frichard played in doubles and set the tone early for the T-Birds.

"We pulled out big wins in doubles 2 and 3 and almost got the win at number 1. Singles was also great for us as Frichard, Duncan, Lukas and Andrew all got big wins!"

MCC is now 3-3, but 3-0 in conference play.

Mesa will next take on Pratt CC (Ill.) in two matches, Monday and Tuesday on the MCC courts, Monday's match starts at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday begins at 4:00 p.m.
