Men's, women's tennis fall to NCAA DI Western New Mexico
Mesa, AZ – Taking on yet another NCAA opponent, the Mesa men's and women's tennis teams fell to Division I Western New Mexico Saturday.
The men got a victory from Harry Browning at No. 1 singles and eventually lost, 8-1. The MCC men took three singles matches to three sets with Duncan Mulenga falling at No. 2 singles 10-8 in the final set and Lukas Barufi also going to a third set at No. 6, falling 11-9 in the deciding set.
The T-Bird women dropped a 9-0 decision.
Both teams go back into action next Saturday against Ottawa (AZ) at 10 a.m.
