MCC tennis fares well against GCU Club

  Glendale, AZ – Both the men's and women's Mesa tennis teams had good showings against the Grand Canyon University Club teams Saturday at the Paseo Racquet Club.

  According to head coach Feroz Rast, "It was a great opportunity for both the men and women to work on things. The GCU Club has some really good players and today was great for us to go against some good competition.

  "I was very impressed with how everyone played. Today was also a good chance to work on some doubles competition for the first time this season.  It was great to get this before our big match against Ottawa University in a couple of weeks."

  That match versus Ottawa will be also be held at the Paseo Racquet Club on Saturday, Oct. 14.
