No. 17 MCC Men's Soccer hosts Chandler-Gilbert in a pivotal ACCAC showdown on Saturday.
MCC comes in with a 5-2-4 overall record and a 3-1-4 conference mark. MCC is 3-1-1 in their last five games with wins over Paradise Valley CC (4-3) and Yavapai College (3-2) as their only loss was against Pima CC (4-1).
The Thunderbirds are having their key players step up in their last few games as Joshua Rodriguez has found the back of the net in three of their last five games, and Gabriel Gutierrez Alapizco had himself a game against South Mountain with two goals and three assists.
Chandler-Gilbert CC comes into action on Saturday with a 1-10-2 overall record and a 1-7-2 conference mark. The Coyotes are 1-1-3 in their last five matches with their lone win coming against Paradise Valley (2-0).
