Men's soccer Alejandro Chavez named ACCAC goalkeeper of the week.

Men's soccer Alejandro Chavez earned ACCAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors for his performances against Yavapai and Pima.

After starter Andrew Powell went down with injury, Chavez has made the most of his opportunity. In games against Yavapai and Pima last week, Chavez totaled 9 saves, while only allowing one goal in each game on 11 total shots-on-goal. 

In the upset over Pima, Chavez made multiple acrobatic saves to keep the Aztecs at bay in order to finish off the win.
