Men's golf takes fourth at EAC invite

THUNDERBIRD MEN 4TH AT EAC INIVITE
Sophomore Tomas Ribeiro fired a pair of 71's in windy/blustery conditions to pace the men to a 4th place finish at the EAC Invite at Mt. Graham GC in Thatcher, Az. Ribeiro finished tied for 3rd for the event. Stratton Deneke, Tyler Gerace finished T-22 while Dawson Moon finished 29th.
"Tomas didn't get any help from his teammates this week," Said head coach John Guerrero, "we have to learn how to play docile courses and handle the elements better."
Currently, the Tbirds are ranked 3rd in Region 1, 4th in ACCAC and 4th in NJCAA D2.
The men will play their final conference Apr 15-16 at the Estrella Mountain Invite at Tres Rios GC.
