Men's golf shoots even-par 576 to place second at PVCC Invite
Cave Creek, AZ – In one of its best performances of the year, the Mesa men's golf team carded an
even-par 294-282—576 at the Cave Creek Municipal G.C. to place second at the Paradise Valley
Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
The T-Birds fashioned a six-under 282 in the second round.
Individually, Dawson Moon fired a four-under-par 73-67—140 to tie for second place with the 67 being
five under par, to lead MCC. The 67 was his season-best.
Tyler Gerace was just one shot back at three-under 72-69—141 to tie for fourth place. Tomas Ribeiro
had a 74-73—147 to tie for 15 th place. Ray Ramirez had a 75-75—150 finishing tied for 21 st place.
Mesa waits until April to get back into action when it plays at the Eastern Arizona Invitational April 3-4.
