Culp, Baracani, chosen to all-Region I, Division II baseball team

  Mesa, AZ – The Mesa baseball team had two players chosen to the All-Region I, Division II baseball team which was announced Tuesday.

  Connor Culp and Dawson Baracani were chosen by the region coaches. Both are infielders for the T-Birds.

  Culp, who hit .316, led the team in several categories. He had 51 RBIs, 16 doubles, five triples and five home runs, all of which led MCC. The RBI total was sixth in the ACCAC and the 16 doubles were tied for ninth. He also paced MCC with 46 runs scored.

  Baracani, who played often at shortstop, batted .292 with 21 runs batted in, three doubles and a triple.
