Beach volleyball gains another split on three-day California trip
El Cajon, Calif. – Another day, another split fir the beach volleyball team on its three day trek through California.
The T-Birds scored a 5-0 win over Mira Costa College, following a 4-1 loss to Grossmont, Friday. That improved their record to 4-3.
Head coach Jordan Herrington had special praise for her No. 2 pair of Jessica Goldsmith and Maci Lopeman who won both of their matches on the day, both by 2-0 scores. In fact, all of MCC's wins over Miracosta were 2-0..
The trip concludes Saturday with the scene shifting to Menifee, Calif., where Mt. San Jacinto will host the T-Birds. Mesa will also play College of the Desert.
