On a day to day basis everyone has moments where they are riding high on previous success or trying to dig themselves out of the pit based on their past failures.

The ups and downs of life are a fickle thing, we never truly know when or where either will strike. The important thing is to never get too low or too high based on singular events.

Praise and blame are two actions that are polar opposites and can change how someone feels in an instant. Praise can lead to pride in oneself, happiness, and the urge to repeat the same feeling.

Blame can leave someone defensive, hostile, and lead them to act out of character.

The successful people in life aren't always the ones who are given better opportunities, or born with a golden spoon. Successful people are unaffected by blame or praise. Those people don't let their mistakes define who they are, and dont let their success limit them on who they can become.

Caitlin Clark who has become one of the most polarizing figures in women's sports understands what it takes to be a successful athlete. Clark recently just broke the men's and women's NCAA career scoring record and is leading her team into the 2024 NCAA National Tournament.

Clark has amassed a countless number of awards including the 2024 National Play of the Year from The Athletic and ESPN.com.
