Sherman Forbes earns Mary Ellen Leicht Service Award

Sherman Forbes was named a recipient of the 2023 NJCAA Mary Ellen Leicht Service Award.

The award is given to those who make and have made significant contributions to a two year college athletics program.

Forbes serves as the Assistant Athletic Director and Eligibility and Compliance Director at MCC.

On a national level Forbes is well  involved in the workings of the NJCAA as he is an at-large member of the NJCAA Board of Regents and is the NJCAA Region I Women's Assistant Director. Forbes also serves on the NJCAA DII Women's basketball committee, the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Committee, and the NJCAA DII Volleyball Committee.
